Diffusers & Protection plates
Diffusers help evenly distribute and scatter light to achieve uniform illumination on the object under examination. This is particularly important when inspecting surfaces with different reflection properties, as uneven illumination can lead to undesirable shadows and reflections that affect image quality.
Another advantage of diffusers is that they make the light "softer" by scattering it, thus reducing harsh shadows and reflections. This is particularly beneficial when detecting fine details on surfaces or identifying surface defects, as harsh shadows and reflections can impede detail recognition.
