Dome Lights
Dome Lights allow shadow-free uniform light covering 180 degrees. For inspection of objects with glossy or non-flat surfaces or foil wrapped objects. The small FLDM-i50 is cylindric, all the others dome-shaped and illuminated from below. FHDM are equipped with high brightness LEDs to provide 360 degrees uniformity and larger coverage on the object area. FHDM operate at constant current sources in strobe mode. FFDQ is a flat square dome.
Illumination Structure:
Through the light conduction plate the object is illuminated from a low angle by uniform diffuse light. FHDM are equipped with high brightness LEDs to provide 360 degrees uniformity and larger coverage on the object area.
Features
Light emitting area covers 180 degrees (FHDM 360 degrees). This very bright diffuse front light enables shadowfree uniform light, perfectly suited for glossy or non-flat surface inspection. FHDM possess High Brightness LEDs to provide 360 degrees uniform and larger coverage object area.
Major Application
Suitable for in tape and reel mark or orientation inspection or objects with glossy surfaces or non-flat surface
Suitable for characters inspection of workpieces with glossy surface and illuminating dome-shaped surface.
Note
Due to the design, reflective components may exhibit a darker area in the center of the image, caused by the camera hole. However, this can be compensated by using an additional coaxial lighting.
