The use of optical filters can cost-effectively optimize image information. In most cases, contrast enhancement in the resulting image is desired.
One approach is, for example, the suppression of disturbing wavelength ranges in the light spectrum, allowing colored features to be brightened or darkened when using colored lighting. In this way, disturbing extraneous light influences can be avoided or the wavelengths of the light used can be limited so that the camera sensor can work optimally. The Falcon pass filters are made of high-quality materials and offer excellent optical performance.
